Japan 2010 - Tokyo

When we reached Tokyo from Kawaguchiko, it was raining.....after check-in at our hostel, me and my hime sama decided to go separately to our intended locations....me and my sis to Myoden (to visit a friend) while my 3 hime sama to Ginza.....most of the entire day was spent at Myoden....

Then next day was a stroll from our hostel to Kaminarimon, through Nakamise Street....and finally to Sumida Park.....the weather was perfect and it was a nice stroll....:)

Still early....not many people around and the shops just being opened....while we were there, there was a kindergarden graduation ceremony...all these cute kids with their kindergarden uniform and a rose each.....kawaii...

The main shrine is currently undergoing a major renovation and it was closed for public.....zannen desu ga but the sakura was in full bloom all the way from Nakamise Street to the shrine.....

The lagendary "giant slippers"......^^
The sakura along Sumida river was also in full bloom.....^^

Big Sho-Kun's poster!

After Sumida Park, we once again decided to split up.....2 of my hime sama went for shopping spree while another hime sama together with me and my sis went for Sanrio Puroland....a HELLO KITTY WORLD! It takes about more than an hour to get to Tama Center....and the 3 of us were so excited....not that I am a Hello Kitty fan but suddenly you felt like a kid again ^^

A hello kitty welcoming signboard! Tama Center is a cute little university town (there was an Art University or somesort) and surprisingly got lots of shopping places..its totally like a magical town hehehehe...here's some of the pictures we snapped.

We reached Sanrio Puroland entrance and alas....it was closed! It seems that Sanrio is closed every thursday in the month of April...........aaaaaa................aaaaaa................I was frustrated.... not that I'm a big fan of kitty...:P

We decided to come back the next day and as to make our journey worthwhile....we went shopping at a big Daiso shop in Tama Center.....^^

From Tama Center, we went back to Shinjuku to catch a train to Maihama for Tokyo Disneyland...and on the way....saw a poster of O-Chan and decided to take a snap....^^

Yes...yes.....thank you....thank you...I know you guys adore me....hahahahaha.....^^

Reached Maihama nearly to 6 pm....meet up with my 2 hime sama and as we were buying the "After 6" passport....we didn't have to wait long to enter.......

The souvenir shop......
The walkway from the souvenir shop to the entrance gate of Disneyland.....

Some of the decorations....buildings....and finally the CASTLE.....

The night view of the castle is totally awesome...with the blue light surrounding...it really makes the castle looks magical......
Some of the unique buildings..... We had a ride on the "small world" boat... ..the 3 youngsters rode on the merry go round....and they were very excited about it....no ones tried the teacups....the monster among monster!... hahahaha....it makes your head spin (need to refer to my entry on Genting for the historical background of the teacup)..........we watched the Light Parade....it was fun....but unfortunately I can't get a good picture with my camera.....so I have to store the virtual pictures in my memory hard disk....hahahahaha ^^.....it was freezing cold but altogether a good day.....:) and the O-chan factor really makes a different for my frustration of the closed Sanrio ^^
