Well, it has been a while since I post anything in this blog. Been buzy.....whats with the job changes and all....
It's been 6 mths since I change job and so far so good. Well can't ask for more, right??!! whats with the recession and all.
One best thing for 2008 was that...I managed to go to Japan...:) hahahaha
2 of my friends, my sister and me went there end of Oct 2008 until 4 Nov 2008. It was early autumn, so the weather not so cold....except when we were in Kanazawa.
We started off the trip with Tokyo...taihen desu....tsukareta desyo but very enjoyable. We met with Hazmeer and Kawashima san while we were there....will post some of our pictures later. In Tokyo, I managed to say "TADAIMA" to a Nihonjin...a cute one...and he replied "OKAIRE"....hehehe...makes me feel good thinking back about it......><
Next we went to Hakone...very beautiful place...and we had one of the most delicious breakfast there...hehehehe...I even 'tapau' some apple juice....:P
We boarded a pink kawaii bus to Kanazawa...the best place in the trip....in my opinion lah...very beautiful and relaxing place to be...and the souvenir is much much cheaper here....we found one place inside the Kanazawa station that served a very delicious breakfast for just JPY500. Kanazawa Castle was awesome....and as usually due to too much watching taiga drama...I felt like I was transported back in time....sugoi ...
From Kanazawa we headed off to Kyoto..another interesting place. We reached Kyoto around 11 am and headed straight to Fushimi Inari. Very,very nice place. The torii were extremely amazing.....this is where I bought my "ikan emas" furin. The second day we went to Himeji Castle....Kanazawa Castle yori to zenzen chigaimasu...another sugoi place....hahahaha reminded me of "OOKU" drama that I watched previously...so now I know this is where they shot the castle scene for that series....after that we went to Kiyomizu dera...and it started to get dark when we reached there...a bit of an 'eerie' place, in my opinion...but there's a lot of souvenir shops lining the street heading to the temple...
The 3rd day....Arashiyama...hehehe another great place. The best is the bamboo forest and the ride on the "Arashiyama Romantic Train"...we got a good seat on the train...and the scenery was "sugoi"...indescribable...hehehe...we continued to Kyoto Imperial Palace and Kinkakuji...in summary a very interesting 3 days of Kyoto....:)
Next stop was Nara, the deer town. A bit of a dissapointment because I was expecting to the see the big gate (as in the deer man drama - tamaki hiroshi's drama) but upon reaching Nara station, the first thing I see was ........aaaaaa.....a town....no big gate in sight. Aaahhhh.....chigaimasu nee...luckily the deers are exactly roaming freely as in the drama...yokatta!!!! We had our 'pikuniku' here...hehehehe ><
Last stop is Osaka....different that the rest of the places that we have been to. Reserved my comments here....
Well that about it...about my Japan trip.
