Kota Kinabalu - part 2

Woke up to another beautiful morning V(^^)V
and we set off early to the jetty!

The boat counters and inside the terminal.... after making all the payment then its time to depart.....it was exciting!

The boat ride was a nice ones.....a little bit like on a roller coster hahahaha....my nephews had fun!

The sky was blue...the sun was shining....the water was clear....it was a fine morning for a picnic and a scuba ..... it seems even the weather was with us through out this trip....yokatta!

After about 20 minutes boat ride, we reached the first island.....Manukan, I think it was the biggest island among the three.......after making arrangement for the boat to come and pick us up at 1 pm....we stepped off to the jetty....it was awesome....the water was bluish/greenish....u can actually see the fishes!

See.....the water was sooooo clear that you can even see the ET reflection....hahahaha.....it was actually my nephew!

After changing to our swimwear clothing....suddenly there soooo many turtles hahahaha.....well once you wear the googles....everybody looks like a Ninja Turtle, don't they??!!

Its beautiful right?!....we were so fortunate that the weather was so nice that day.

Kota Kinabalu - 1st

As we reached Kota Kinabalu late.....after settling in and putting in our baggage and had a shower....next was to fill our stomach....hehehehe and where else if not the Pasar Malam right next to the Pasar Filipine (or better known as Sinsurin Complex).....we enjoyed the prawn, squid and ikan susu...it was delicious....ooooo....yup not forgetting the slice mangga......it was yummy...... here's some of the pictures.....the before and after .....hahahahaha...........















We started off early from our hotel to catch views of Mt Kinabalu because the taxi driver told us that even in a nice weather, we can only see Mt Kinabalu up to 9.30 to 10.00 am because of the clouds....and as it takes about 1 and half hours to go there, we decided to go out at 7.30am....and we're in luck....YATTA..... Kinabalu san yatto aimashita....v(^O^)v......now I seen Kinabalu san and Fuji san.....hahahahaha....LUCKY!!!!

Beautiful right?! We were lucky as it was a nice day and we managed to have a clear view of Mt Kinabalu from its base.....







A nice snap of Mt Kinabalu from the view point...after browsing around at the handicraft and souvenir shops nearby we went to Poring Hotspring for the canopy walkway experience...it was a tough climb......but we had fun...here's some pictures...

Next stop was the Pondon Timpohon.....the base pathway to climb Mt Kinabalu...here we saw this lady being carried out in a makeshift stretcher....I think she sprain her ankle or something and had to be carried out .....












My sis and her hubby posing in the front entrance....by the time we climb down from here, we can no longer see Mt Kinabalu.....the clouds have already moved in and everything was white.
