Asakusa Nite Walk

From Yokohama, we went straight to K's House to check-in.  After freshened up, me and my sis went for a night walk at Asakusa.  The Asakusa Tourist Information Center has changed to this new modern design building.....it looks grand but I still missed the musical clock that adorned the old building.

Some of the shops that still open at Nakamise dori

The famous Kaminarimon Koban (police beat)....altho it was only 6+pm, but the surrounding looks more like it was 9+pm...hmmmmm

One thing good about our nite walk was that we were able to see the beautiful painted shutter of the shops in Nakamise Dori............and without tooo many ppl around, we were able to take pictures of the nice shutters

My sis with a shutter painted with blooming sakura

While walking, I saw my fav group...hehehehe d=(´▽`)=b

Another unique painted shutter

This one got an Edo period feel to it

Peace and quiet walk hehehehe

Just a few more tourists walking by and snapping away

The prayer lantern......niasss

The giant slipper

The temple (tera) looks so majestic with the lights on

Another angle of the pagoda with the giant slipper in sight

Awesome sight....finally I got to see Asakusa at nite after third time here

A few salary men on the way for a drink, I guess,

A unique shop with a very nice painted shutters

Suddenly Asakusa looked serene and peaceful without all the day ppl around hahahaha

A very nice dining place

Another nice shutter

The dorobo (thief) shop....can u see the thief at the top of the shop (left)

Altho I didn't get to buy souvenirs because most of the shops have closed for the day, but to be able to see and capture all these nice shutters makes my day (●´∀`●)

Another unique shop

Amazing sight wen u go for a nite walk hehehehe

A shop lined with dining places, just like the ones in Jdorama

A dining place just like in Deka Wanko (a detective jdorama)

After exploring Asakusa, we stopped by this Tenya restaurant for our dinner....hehehehe tempura tempura tempura

My sis happi face while waiting for our order

Yeah...ebi (prawn) and vegetables tempura

After dinner, we continued our walk toward Sumida River

The sight of Sky Tree and the Asahi Biru (Building) at nite is totally pretty
